Scuba Diving Cabo Pulmo is on every divers bucket list. Rich diverse marine life in the Gulf of California formerly known as The Sea of Cortez.

Let’s dive right into Cabo Pulmo and its awesome Marine Park! This cool little village started protecting its reefs back in the early 1990s, and boy, can you tell! With dive spots ranging from 30 to 60 feet deep, folks from all over the world come here for some underwater fun. In the fall, you can swim with huge schools of jacks, in the winter you might spot whales from the surface, and in spring and summer, watch thousands of mobula rays leaping out of the water, making the sky look like it’s raining rays! There are sharks, turtles, big groupers, rays, and eels popping up all the time, plus tons of other fish swimming around. Whether you’re new to diving or a pro, you’ll come up smiling and ready to chat about all the amazing stuff you saw, getting ready for another dive under the shiny waves.

Here small pangas are loaded with gear at the shop and then are launched from the beach as soon as divers make the short walk to the shoreline and climb aboard. Back roll entries are the norm and returns to shore involve hopping over the side to wade ashore and make the short stroll back to the shop.

Cabo Pulmo Offers Snorkeling Adventures Too!

But wait, there’s more! If diving isn’t your thing, don’t worry! Cabo Pulmo also offers fantastic snorkeling opportunities. You can explore the shallow waters and vibrant reefs, spotting all sorts of marine life just beneath the surface. From colorful fish darting around to curious turtles gliding gracefully, snorkeling here is an unforgettable experience for beginners and experts alike.
